What To Expect

Please read over the following before requesting a tour with Tasty!

Each tour is custom to suit the needs of the author, so we will discuss further details in our email conversations or phone conversations.  

From there, the dates are reserved and so begins the process!

Here is the Basic Process of what you can expect from a Tasty Book Tour:

New Tours are posted on the Tasty Web Page once a week, so you can expect your Tour Sign Up Page to go live within 7-10 days of finalizing dates and your getting the Booking Form filled out and back to me. (Normally Sign Ups will go up Two Months Prior to the start date)

Invoice will go out once the booking form has been received.  After payment is finalized, tasty will send of for banner design and the tour will go live on Tasty site.

Once your Tour Sign Up page is live, I will share the link with you, which you can share with Fans and readers who might want to grab a tour date.  Your Tour will be added to the Bi-Weekly Newsletter through Constant Contact, which goes out to about 800+ Tasty Hosts, which includes the Cover, Sign Up Link and Blurb. 

If you are an author who is participating in Guest Features and Interviews, Lisa will send out an email with Author Posting Needs a month prior to the start date of the tour, which will need to be completed and expected back a week to three days  prior to the start of the tour. Interview questions and Guest Feature Ideas will now be pre-arranged and the author can pick and choose as geared towards their genre, title, theme.etc.

Tour Materials are emailed out 3-5 days prior to the start of the tour.   Materials include: Cover, Tour Banner, Author Pic (Optional) and Media Kit (Blurb, Buy Links, Goodreads, Author Bio, Social Media Links, Rafflecopter Links and Excerpts (Additional info might be added as pertains to book: ex Book Trailer, Teasers, etc).  This is also the point when the Interviews and Guest Features are emailed to hosts!

A Final Link and Banner will be emailed a few days prior to the first day of the tour.  This Sign Up page will include the Rafflecopter, and will have been "Cleaned Up" meaning weeding out any hosts who are no longer blogging, have changed their mind about hosting, etc.

Tasty Book Tours asks that the posts be up on hosting site by 10 AM (EST), which is when I go about checking on ALL the tour stops for that particular date!  You will receive an email from me stating any Delays or Schedule Changes, after the host has been contacted.  

The posts (or most of depending on how many are scheduled per day) will be shared on the Tasty Book Tours Facebook Page (5700+ Likes), and Twitter Page (5000+ Followers).

The Posting Average on MOST of the Tasty Tours is between 80-95%, which I think is about average for most tour companies.  IT WILL NOW BE MANDATORY for hosts to share their reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.  If a host thinks the book is worth lower than a Three-star rating, they are asked to hold off on posting the review during the tour.  I will always try my best to remember to let my authors know when a host will not be reviewing.

You will be contacted about a week after the tour is completed with Giveaway Info (if mailing), or Proof of Purchase (if Tasty is running your giveaway and distribution).
